About Us

The Brocket Babies website was created, and is managed and maintained by David Green and his Brocket Baby wife Rosemary Green.

The website was started in 2008 to find out a little about life in Brocket Hall whilst it was being used as a maternity hospital.  We hoped we might find a dozen or so Brocket Babies who might remember a few stories from their mothers.  It has since grown well beyond all expectations.

If you have any comments, questions, thoughts, or ideas please feel free to contact us.

Brocket Hall

Brocket Hall began reuniting the Brocket Babies with their birth place in 1997 and has been arranging reunions almost every year since.

The reunions were initiated by Michael Longshaw the General Manager of Brocket Hall and the first reunion was held on Saturday 12 April 1997.  Later events were managed by Karen Ewing, they were then arranged and managed by Jeanette Edwards, and more recently Emma Irving.

Brocket Hall is an exclusive use venue for corporate and private events to include weddings for groups from 25 - 150 guests. Or for larger numbers a marquee can be used which could seat 400 guests.
